It was that time again, on 29.6. – 30.6. the K5 – the Future Retail Conference took place in Berlin.
With almost 5,000 visitors, K5 is one of the most important German trade fairs for e-commerce. In two large halls at the Estrel, the latest products and services from over 200 exhibitors from the e-commerce and retail sectors were presented to many interested guests. There were also around 150 speakers and 50 masterclasses covering the latest trends and topics in the industry.
Of course, we from nexnet were there as well. And introduced our new product: Subscription Billing by nexnet.cloud .
Impressions from the Fair
The trade fair days were filled with various lectures and presentations that addressed, among other things, data analysis. For entrepreneurs, it is becoming increasingly important to evaluate the data of their customers and businesses correctly. And to interpret it in order to continue to be at the forefront of the market.
In addition, there was good food and of course lots of networking. At K5, manufacturers, service providers and retailers were able to talk to each other at eye level. And discuss the latest trends and topics in the industry with each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
We also had very interesting conversations with trade show attendees who came to our booth to learn more about subscription billing. Among them were also PSP providers who showed great interest in a cooperation with nexnet.cloud.
Our giveaways also attracted many trade show attendees to our booth, with whom we talked not only about nexnet.cloud, but also about our core business at nexnet. Because in addition to subscription billing, there was also a lot of interest in payment clearing, accounts receivable management and other financial services. With our wide range of customized solutions, we master the hurdles in the e-commerce industry together with our customers. And accompany them into the digital future.
Business models with subscriptions are becoming increasingly common, especially in online retailing. And in many business cases, a tool like our Subscription Billing Platform can be integrated well into the processes to make them even more efficient.
Our Conclusion to the Fair
K5 attracted many visitors who wanted to participate in such a great fair again after a long time. Ingo Hentschel says: “People were very happy to be among people again. Nothing can replace the spoken word on site, not even virtual trade fairs, conferences and meetings.”
The topic of subscription has also arrived at K5 and will be found more and more on the German market in the coming years. In addition, data analysis is becoming increasingly important for companies, especially in the online sector. Only those who understand how to collect and evaluate the right data can optimize their business and be at the forefront of the market.
For us, the K5 was a great experience and we will certainly be there again next year.
